I was just wondering if this happens to anyone else. I have this strange sensation in my spine that feels like pressure and kind of a tugging/tight sensation. I have also had episodes during the night where I wake up choking on nothing and gasping for air, almost like I stopped breathing. It's terrifying!

Has this happened to anyone else? Maybe it's a herx? I recently switched from Ceftin to Zithromax to cover Mycoplasma and just upped my dose.

While I'm at it I'll ask if anyone has pain in one side of their neck radiating up to their ear, sinus and eye with the pupil on that side more dilated? This has been happening on my right side for about a year. All the other symptoms kind of come and go but this one is more constant.

I appreciate any input. Just don't tell me I have cancer or something. [shake]

the breathing sounds like sleep apnea, pretty common with lyme. ask your doctor for a sleep study. Doc

Not that I noticed I stopped breathing, but I did an overnight oxygen test. Come to find out, I stop breathing while dreaming. And I have some wild dreams on ambian!

Also, I have one eye that dilates slower than the other, for at least 15 years now.

You might want to talk to a doctor about that choking feeling. I useto choke while eating. Felt like my throat would just close up and I would have to spit out the food.

Thought it was just a muscle spasm from the Lyme. Turned out it was a tumour off my salvary gland. No it wasn't cancer. But it was the size of an orange! Still think it was from the cell phone...

Doesn't hurt to get checked out.
