I've been on biaxin for the past 7+ months (with a couple of small breaks). The most recent break from the abx was just about 2-3 weeks ago.

I have an itchy rash that goes almost all the way around my waist. They are big red blotches.

They are right on my panty line, but are not caused by chafing or even dryness. It seemed to start about a week after starting the meds again after being off of them for about 10 days.

They seem to be drying up some, but the itchy redness is still prominent.

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks, all.

I asked in another thread that I have bracelet like rash around my ankles and they've been there for about 2+ months. They don't itch and look brown, not sure what infection they indicate...

What are you being treated for? I saw some scratches on my back so I asked for levaquin to treat bart. Have been on IV Recephin for almost two months now.

I'm being treated for Lyme and Babs. I go to the doc on the 20th so I'll probably still have it then anyway.
