I've been taking Zith 500mg for 2 weeks and Doxy 400mg for about three weeks. I've been feeling worse...should I stick it out with these for another week? two weeks? until I'm feeling better? Or should I ask my doc to start me on IV - something strong like Rifampin,Mepron, Flagyll, Rocephin, Mepron, Biaxin??

And are these ones all IV?

I would let your doctor be the guide here.

No kidding.

Honestly, you havn't given it enough time. If you can get well by taking oral medication, you are much better.

I haven't had IV and I've been on Orals for almost 17 months.

Doc says IV is last resort. Expensive, Painful and intrusive into your life.
