So I need to know what all you girls would do in this situation.

I could start Diflucan today, but am not sure if that's such a good idea considering my period is starting tomorrow.

Well, you know how blah your period can make a person and lyme on top of that is worse... so I'm not sure if I should just start the Diflucan and go with it... or should I wait?

What would you do in this situation?

PS - right now I'm not taking any other antibiotic. I was taking Bactrim, but have stopped it for a week or so because it seems it was what was giving me a yeast problem. And I wasn't going to re-start the Bactrim until after the Diflucan.

What would you do/thoughts?

Thanks a lot! [group hug]

I would take the diflucan.

That way maybe when your period is over your yeast will be too. [Smile]

I always feel worse during that monthly time no matter what. [shake]

Yeast die off can create a herx like reaction too.

I am just a go getter. Go through one week of misery versus two. [dizzy]

Of course I am going into my 19th month of treatment and for the most part,

Have learned to roll with the bad days.

If you feel you can't handle it then don't.

It is okay to take things at your pace.

Hope you feel better real soon.

Hugs,

Geneal

I would start taking the diflucan. Get it all over with at once. You may start to feel better after your period is over and hopefully get back on abx.

Feel better.
