My nails look terrible. They are chewed almost to the quick and red.
I would like to try those artificial nails. I know the salons smell terrible. The fumes from the chemicals they use must be toxic but I'm not sure.
Does anybody wear those sculpted nails?
I know I would just feel better knowing my hands looked nice.

If you have chemical sensititivites, then sitting in the salon could make you feel bad. But if you don't generally have sensitivities to chemicals, then make yourself happy. Happiness is the best medicine.

I get what is called an acrylic wrap, which is done by putting a coat of polish-like stuff on the nail and dipping it into a powder then putting the polish stuff on top.
Then she adds a gel to the top and heat sets them. I don't have chemical sensitivities and I like the way they look.
