I am still having pain under my arms. It might be the grapefruit seed causing a herx or a pulled muscle, I don't know.

But I'm wondering since I'm so sore, could it be the lymph nodes being swollen?

How do you detox lymph nodes? water??

Or should I back off the GSE? I'm only on two drops per day and have been for 2 weeks.

Red root tincture is used for this. I've been on this herb for a few months now (part of the Bruhner protocol) and can't say if it helped or not but I have not had any lymph problems.

Burbur is an awesome detox. It usually works to make me feel better in comparison to how I was feeling on a certain day. Not ALWAYS, but many times when I'm having a bad day or even herxing, I can take burbur and feel a little better rather quickly.

Burbur is from the Cowden Protocol. You can get it from Nutramedix.com or look around for it online. I've never seen a health food store carry it. Wish they would though!

I often have a swollen lymph node under my right ear and red root tincture works well at stopping the pain. I must say though that I have to be diligent in taking it because missing even a few doses causes a lump to form.

Rebounder. http://www.reboundair.com/ This is where I purchased mine and I love it.

Read up on rebounding. Excellent for moving lymph glands and clears my sinuses too.

thanks for the rebounder idea. but, seriously there is no humanly possibly way i could do that. Now with the way i'm built!!!

i think i'll stop the GSE, try to do more walking and take some warm baths and see if that helps.

last night i woke up at 2:30 in such pain i thought i was going to throw up. i was drenched in sweat and shaking...the bp was 153 over 135 and my heart rate was 98. it was pain i'm sure because i've done this before and my gp said it was...

but, man, i've got to do something....

if this is a herx,...it's a bad one and it's going on for about a week....

healthmarvelsdetoxpatch.com - we use the gold - this works for us - we also see a physical therapist who manipulates the lymphatic system -
that also helps the detox process

i've seen other say detox pads, but i thought those were strictly for the feet.

Can you use them other places? I'm a little confused on those pads.

The detox pads are worn on the feet. Reflexology was new to me and I thought it sounded too simple and strang to be true. But I gave it a try and so did my youngest child. We had nothing to lose but a few dollars. It is not ingested. The bag looks like a large tea bag with herbs in it. It is placed on the bottom of the foot (and a map of the foot is given in directions) with an adhesive pad (wear a sock over because it gets messy). You wear it to bed at night. In the morning you take it off and scrub the feet. We soak our feet in Epson salts (magnesium) which also helps. I am having a real lyme brain day here so bare - bear - oh what the heck - with me.

The map of the foot shows the placement for the pad. Your toes correspond with your head. Ball of the foot with chest.....heal with feet. It is not complicated - and it worked.

I even gave it to my husband when he had the flu last fall. It worked for him and now he believes too. I make my daughters use them when they are coming down with a cold.....you know what getting any cold or virus can do to us.

Hope this was informative........

I'm sorry to say this. The only way I know to help detox lymph nodes without rebounding is paying big out of pocket money to someone trained to do lymph drainage. On a very regular schedule. Once a week, 2 times a month, etc.

I only know that much due to living it for myself.
I'm not able to use a rebounder. Maybe some day?

I'm sorry to hear you can't use the rebounder.

Everyone is giving good suggestions. Please be careful not to try everyone's suggestions at the same time. Too much detox can make you very sick.

Lymph massage is very good and I love detox pads too.

Originally I worked with an MD (antesthesiologist)
who was also a board certified homeopath and he gave me a remedy for moving the lymph glands. I was just too toxic initially for any of the above methods to work.

What worked best for me was change of diet and IVs of glutathione for a year. I am still being detoxed by diet and glut among other things, but I no longer suffer any symptoms.

Cruciferous vegetables assist the body in natural production of glutathione. Glut is produced by the liver and is found in every cell of the body but mostly in the liver and lungs. It is critical to removing toxins from the body.
