Well... My right arm is itching almost unbearable.
A little on my Left elbow and a little on my neck.
6 weeks of Zith, Plaquinel, Septra and Malarone. Could this now be causing the itching? I take probiotics as well.
Should I take a benedryl?

....I've had that itching. I found questran will do away with it. Charcoal might also.
It's some kind of toxin I suspect. The other member of the household has done reverse lattes with good results but I don't want to go down (up) there....

I don't know what questran is but I'm not having any difficulty breathing at the moment. There is no rash of any kind just itching.
Gonna take a epsom salt bath and a benedryl and see how it goes.

Hi; I've been itching on my arms and legs for the past week or two also, and am taking a similar array of abx; biaxin, plaquenil, bicillin and mino.
It does not seem to be an allergy for me, as antihistamines do nothing for the itching.
One llmd suggested that it might be the bacteria or their debris coming out through the skin due to treatment. Or not. It is just idiopathic itching, and since this treatment has been effective, I am happily putting up with being itchy. Hot showers or cold ones help.

If your eosinophils are high, it can cause itching, but it's mostly all over itching. Check your last CBC results

Any chance you are taking narcotic pain meds? I discovered too high a dose can cause itching when my doctor changed my pain meds.

Oddly enough the benedryl helped some. Today my right arm is fine and now my left leg is all itchy. Weird huh?
