I've heard this on youtube. That the lyme becomes more active and due to this you get a bigger herx.
I was doing well in Feb and planning to go back to work and then things started to go downhill for me in March and April.
If this is the case then are all of you having a rough time too? I am definitely herxing off the 400 mg of doxy I started last Oct. I know this because I stopped for igenex testing and I felt better and then when I went back on it last weeek BAM!! In bits. Never had this when I started the doxy.

Sorry to hear you took a dip. Sounds like a big one too!
From what I have noticed quite a number of people tend to get worse in the summer. I don't know if any reason has ever been "officially" established.. at least none I've heard of.
Some people get worse in the winter.. but it doesn't seem to be as many for whatever reason.
But before you associate your situation to a "season"... may I suggest you think about possible co-infections?
Sometimes they hide underneath the Lyme layer until the Lyme is knocked down enough and cleared. Then they rear their ugly heads.
Just don't want you to overlook possible explanations.. but most of all...

Thanks Tincup...You may be right there. I started getting Bart rashes around then. I have ordered 90 days worth of Levaquin online as a bit of insurance.
My LLMD does not really put too much into treating co-infections. He brushed off the pictures I sent him last month of the rash on my arms and back that were clear cat scratches.
They disappeared within 30 minutes. I might do the levaquin with the ricephin this summer.
Thanks for the heads up
