Its been a real long time since I have be on here.

The part in his letter of Munchausen's Syndrome by Proxy brought back the memories when my son ws sick I remember the nurse asking if I Put the therometer under a lamp. When he was sick one of his symptoms were really high fevers and I would bring him to the er and of course I would give him advil so the fevers would go down so by the time we got to see somebody he probably didn't have a fever or it was lower than 107 thats how high they got. They thought I was crazy!

My son is now in his first year of college and I do like to forget that nightmare. I consider us lucky so far found Dr. Jones and his treatment worked. I am often reminded of this nightmare because I have a good friend whose husband is not lucky has even begun using a walker. I hear how the insurance doesn't want to pay for this or that. I really wish something more can be done for this man but getting back to the letter - when will the medical commintiy recognize this disease for what it is devasting in a lot of cases.

When will all the crap stop????

Frustrated

He already has been sick with Lyme and still nothing was done. Apparently he even had his aides consult with ILADS LLMD's.

What type of treatment did Dr. Jones prescribe him? PM me privately if you want, if not that's ok. I'm just curious since I know he has a high success rate! [Smile]

I am not a physician, so do your own research to confirm any ideas given and then speak with a health care provider you trust.
