We have known for a while that my husband'stestosterone level is low. That was reconfirmed with bloodwork the other day. Free testosterone is WAY low.
I know his PCP will recommend the topical gel that you rub on your shoulders.
I'm wondering if this has worked for others, and/or if there are other ways to successfully increase testosterone levels? I have read about implantable pellets--any experience with this?
Also, any natural rememdies that will increase testosterone?
Thanks! I think tackling this could be very important for my husband.

Hi Viva, When I first began treatment, my testosterone was very low also. Instead of just providing extra testosterone, my llmd had me take 3 hgh shots over a 6 day period and rechecked my levels. It turned out my levels were low due to my pituatary gland. He perscribed 3 months of clomiphene and my testosterone jumped from very low to high. I was able to stop taking the clomiphene in 2 months and it has remained on the upper end of normal since(almost a year) Please have your doc check as to why it's low. Best of Luck, Ken

The topical gel is probably the best way to go

hi guys, several years ago my hubby did the topical testosterone gel.
from a wife's point of view: be careful, too much of the gel can alter your personality, make you irritable, nervous -- try starting with half the dose

My pituitary disruption seems to be permanent. So, I take hcg on a continuing basis. Being on exogenous testosterone makes me want to get into fistfights (at 145 lbs, 5'8" age 58!!!).
