I am taking it, but we have had to lower my dose to only 1/2 tsp. 2x/day instead of 1 tsp. 2x/day. I couldn't handle the herxes at the full dose. I know others who take even more than I was taking...I don't know how they do it!
My herx from it the second month, was so bad I was totally 100% bed-ridden. My LLMD does not think that is good for us, so he lowered my dose.
If it is too strong, call your LLMD to see if you can maybe lower the dose. Also, make sure you're not taking COQ-10, and that you are taking lots of stuff for detox.
It is tough stuff, but from what I hear it will work.

Laurie,
I was fine with it.
I actually remember missing a dose or two and taking it all at once.
I'm not sure I ever had babesia, but Dr. B had put me on it after months of Lyme and bart therapy to get me over the edge. At the very least, I was strained from all the drugs, and yet still tolerated it well.
I think my 5 yr old may be going on it soon, I hope he fairs as well as I.
You must experience it yourself to see. Don't accumulate anxiety over it, it will complicate the perception of wellness.
