I was bitten again on Wednesday; have been in treatment since October 2007 and am currently taking Zithromax. Should I call my LLMD and tell him this to see of he wants me to add Doxy back for protective reasons? [dizzy]

YES, it would be a good idea to tell your LLMD right away. See what his/her advice is!

Did you keep the tick? If not, tell your physician immediately, in order to ensure co-infections were not an additional issue, otherwise the antibiotics would take care of just a new Lyme infection.

If you kept the tick, get it tested with your LLMD, and keep it in a little zip lock bag.

I did keep the tick, I secured him in scotch tape because I figured I needed to keep him for a while whether or not the LLMD wanted him or not. I will call him first thing Monday morning. I am treating Babs at the moment, but like I said certainly don't want to have any regression with anything else, and because this tick came from such a close proximity to the other one, I just want to do everything I can to protect and prevent (from) other issues...

FYI, this tick came from within 5 miles of the last infected bite that I got.....

Call your LLMD, page him. You should immediately go on Doxycycline 400 mg/day in my experienced opinion.
