Hi. I have been on ceftriaxone for 3+ months. I ad vibrations and qivering type tremors among the standard joint pain. I was doing well and progressing each month. i would have a "flare"up about every 3 weeks which I related that to herx. Lately the last 3 weeks, my quiverings have been getting more noticable and stronger. i have a mainstream doctor (not a LLD) who might (or might not) continue the therapy past one more month. Can someone shed some light about what might be going on? Ideas? Thank you!!

I don't think you are being treated aggressive enough. Mono therapy won't do the job.
You need an intracellular abx too, like doxycycline or azithromycin then also a cyst killer like flagyl or Tindamax.
If your mainstream doc won't go along with it go to an LLMD, I would go to one anyway because your guy isn't knowledgable enough.

Are you taking trace minerals?
You likely need magnesium, as that becomes depleted and causes all kinds of problems.

Treating parasites with lots of antiparasitic herbs and salt/c after 4 yrs of abx is what turned the corner for me. Also look into Buhner herbs. You are not being treated aggressively enough.
I left my LLMD and treated myself. If you don't have access to an LLMD, there are other options. Parasites/worms can cause the internal vibrations you describe and is an often overlooked co-infection.
Do a search on here for parasites and also google the symptoms.

Welcome beebe!
Sorry you are having a rough time.
I can not give you definite answers as to what is going on, because NONE of us are doctors...
But I can say that the "quivering" stuff when I had it was, as much as I could tell, something that happened when I was at or nearing the end of a herx and before having that first "good day".
I do hope that is the situation for you too and good days are ahead.
