When I was traveling through Asia, it was one of the required vaccines I had to get. I was ill at the time but not diagnosed.
I had trouble with the typhoid vaccine but not the Hep B, but no two people are alike so I would definitely talk to your LLMD about your particular case.

I was ill at the time (undiagnosed) when I had to get it (along with meningitis) before entering university. I didn't notice an exacerbation of symptoms or anything.
