This keeps happening tonight & it's starting to concern me a little bit.

I took a little baking soda a while ago & it hasn't stopped.

I'm wondering if anyone's had this happen & knows whether or not I can just shrug it off & go to bed.

I've had this happen before, but I don't think it's gone on this long or been as frequent.

I REALLY, REALLY don't want to go to the ER [shake] , so I'm hoping to just get some reassurance that it's nothing urgent & can wait until Monday or my cardiologist appt. next week.

[confused]

I just took some Magnesium & I'm going to go to bed.

Hopefully it will just go away.

Just wanted to add that I'm currently taking:
Clarithromycin (Biaxin)
ceftriaxone (Rocephin)
Artemesiae
Circ P
Puerarin
Copmine

I took Tylenol earlier because I had a lot of pain that I think I brought on myself.

I'm just wondering how long after the Tylenol, I noticed it. I think it was long enough that it wouldn't likely be from that.

[confused]

Hi Allie

This has happened to me and it totally freaked me out. I was told by my cardio that sometimes you cant rely on the BP machine, but i was nervous about it. If you feel you need to call your cardio for reasurrance that may be a good thing to do.

AliG,

I'm sorry that you're having this.

I hope that you got through the night with little trouble.

I KNOW how scary it can be.

Not sure why but, I've had this for YEARS and...

I'm still alive. [Big Grin]

Thanks Unexpected and sameetra,

I think I'm fine. I haven't noticed it happening today.

I hope the Magnesium did the trick.

I certainly will mention it to the Cardio though, not that I expect he would actually find anything wrong unless it was happening at the time. [Roll Eyes]

I just had a stress test & echo a few months ago and I'm on ABX so I probably don't really have anything to worry about.

I just hate the freaky heart-related stuff. [Frown]

Thanks for your replies.

Keep an eye on the biaxin. I took it very successfully several years ago, but now it makes my heart do flip flops.

Hope you are OK today!

Thanks Tutu [group hug]

I was reading about the Biaxin, but I thought I was in the clear because I've been on it for three months.

I figured something would have happened by now. Maybe that wasn't a good ASSumption. [Roll Eyes]

I still seem to be doing OK with it today. If it should start up again, maybe it would be better to check with the LLMD to see if he thinks it's the Biaxin?

I'm going to take Magnesium again tonight because I'm REALLY hoping it was just getting low.

How've YOU been doing? I haven't run into you on the board much lately.

[confused]

I took Biaxin for 18 months during Lyme treatment!

Yes, take magnesium every day!!!

I'm "OK"... waiting for an echocardiogram report this week. Things have settled down in regard to my heart though.

Hope you have a good night!!! [Smile]

Dearest AliG,

Could it be your in love? [Smile]

I am hoping that is what it is.

Strange you mention the flip flop thing.

I've been on biaxin now for over a year.

Added in cipro for bart.

So I decreased biaxin to 500mg a day.

Still get the flutter feeling, but not nearly as often as when

I took the biaxin twice daily....hmmmmm.

I also have really upped my magnesium.

That usually always helps.

I take my Blood pressure often.

About 3 times yesterday and 5 times this am,

It couldn't get a heartbeat or find a low pressure.

It was dropping below 30.

I actually changed the batteries in it just to be sure.

I think sometimes the more attention I give to something,

The worse it gets. [Frown]

Of course my heart always gets my attention.

I was researching POTs this week and realized a lot of my symptoms

Can be attributed to this. I already have been diagnosed.

Florinef is not working for me anymore.

Raises my pressure too high.

Thinking of asking for wellbutrin or cymbalta.

Maybe then I'll be smiling when my heart is trying to "Do the hustle".

(Do you remember doing this dance? Or am I really, really old [Big Grin] ?)

Sending you positive thoughts and prayers.

Please keep us posted on how you are doing.

I was thinking of you tonight as I batted the mosquitos away. [Smile]

[group hug]

Hugs,

Geneal

I HATE BEING AN AIRHEAD!!!!!!! [Frown]

TuTu [group hug] I'm so glad your heart has settled down. It probably found out you were having a test done and decided to behave itself. Why does that always seem to happen?

I hope everything turns out good for you on the echo and I pray that everything stays settled. [kiss]

GENEAL!!!! [Eek!] !!!!

That's REALLY LOW! [shake]

Have you tried Licorice? Not "Twizzlers", Licorice that really contains "Licorice"?

I keep some "Aussie" licorice on hand & eat a bunch when my pressure drops too low. I believe the sweetener in it is molasses (good to build blood) & it's not really that sweet.

This is the brand I've been getting lately: Lucky Country
It looks like they also use real licorice extract in their strawberry too, though I believe they use more in the black.

I see some interesting flavors on there. I'll have to see if they have the extract in all of them. I also don't know what sweetener they use in the other flavors.

Mine's never been THAT low, but if the other stuff's been bringing it up too high, it might be worth a shot for you.

I've got news for you sweetie.......
according to our kids, I'm sure we're BOTH really, REALLY old! [lol]

Hustle? Dancing WAS my life!!! Not too young to not know it & not too old to have forgotten it.

Those were the days!!!! [group hug]

I still remember it but I doubt I could do it right now without collapsing. [Roll Eyes]

I just checked it out. They're all flavored with natural licorice extract.

I think I tried & wasn't crazy about the green apple. I think the strawberry was good. I must have gotten it at Walmart because they're listed as a retailer.

[hi]

I'm still probably best off with the black, for "medicinal" purposes.

(Note: FWIW- I don't care for the "Panda" brand very much, but that's probably just MY taste because I think the health food stores sell quite a bit of that one.)

I had this for years and years, and it went away with successful babesia treatment. I had normal EKGs and was always told by the docs that it "wasn't serious."

Thanks mini [Smile]

That would explain why my LLMD suddenly wanted to go after Babs again when I wasn't complaining of sweats/chills/anorexia.

I HATE MEPRON, but I guess it would be the lesser of two evils. [Roll Eyes]

Here we go again....break out the fat and the lemon oil paint [lick] ....YUCK!
