I've read this particular treatment is good for Lyme and co-infections, because the organisms hate heat.I would like to know exactly how the infrared sauna is used.
My son cannot sit or lean on anything that is hard. Can he use the portable infrared sauna while sitting on the couch, his bed or a soft chair?
Which one is good to use, but not expensive? How often is the sauna to be used?
Can meds and supplements be taken at the same time? Any info will be greatly appreciated, as always. Thanks.

I don't have any personal experience with them, but there are some that lay down.

The primary use of saunas is detox. My LLMD wants me to use it daily for 30 min. It can be used while on meds/supps. My LLMD has me taking extra minerals since the sauna can deplete them.
I have a large one, so I don't know how the portable ones work and whether he can lie down somewhere soft or not.

Here is an example of one that lays down. I know nothing about this company but just wanted to show you what I'm talking about.
If you do a search here, you will find threads about FIR saunas and which ones people have and love.

nationalpoolwholesalers is where we got our portable infrared sauna. It has a lifetime warranty; we tested that, and they were very helpful.
My daughter is around 5' and the smaller one works for her. If you are taller than 5'4", go for the larger model.
It has a small canvas camp chair with a back inside. She couldn't take the hard surfaces either.
IT was one of the best investments we made in her treatment.

Thank you all so very much for the info and your help.
Kelmo- how long did your daughter use the FIR sauna or is she still using it? How often each day? Did you detox heavy metals before starting using it?
My son is 5"8" so I'm sure the large model would fit him. I was wondering if I could just set up the portable FIR over the comfortable desk chair he uses. Any ideas?
I'll probably have to contact the company that sells this FIR sauna and find out.
