I have not been able to get a diagnosis confirmed yet for lyme disease. Doctors are all over the map. Recently it is general anxiety disorder. But have recently developed a constant buzzing in my ears. I have heard that craniosacral therapy is amazing but all my neurologist wants to do is give me Lexapro. Also, am undergoing accupunture. Not sure if it is helping. Any experience out there? Can some help me to get direction to an excellent craniosacral therapist in KC area? Much appreciated.

wishiknew; welcome and so glad you found us!!!

i'd recommend this to find this specialist!!

Please go to SUPPORT GROUPS, left-hand side column by state.
CALL the nearest group leader for advise.
Do NOT email; many are too sick to reply; thanks!

People seeking doctors in certain states might be able to
get help from their state online information and support group. Over 1500
people belong to these state groups. Many of the groups are small
but quite a few have 20 or more people on them.

To find your state group, go to
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/statenamelyme

Type your state name and lyme as one word, e.g. newyorklyme

For SC, SD, ND and WY, put a hyphen between the statename
and lyme, e.g. northdakota-lyme

The groups are moderated so you have to apply, and we don't
allow doctor names, but once on the group, you can ask for doctors in a certain area and ask people to email you privately.

I like the craniosacral therapy. It helps me to have more energy, think more clearly, more safely drive, etc. The effects are immediate for me, but taper off within a few days.

It gives me a chance to get some things accomplished and regain motivation to continue with other treatment, especially antibiotics.

I don't know of any therapists close to KC.

Acess www.upledger.org and search for practitioners in your area. Call them and ask for references. If they say they can't due to the HIPPA law, tell them those patients can sign a release to receive calls from prospective patients.
