Hi,

I'm a neuro lymie, actually have a MS diagnosis. Been in treatment for 15 months, decided I might be done and have been off treatment for almost 2 months.
Since, I've had some things that were questionable, but decided to see if my immune system could win the war.

I got a cold and then I think the beginning of bronchitis so I took Roxi for 5 days...
that was the end of April
now, my knees are killing me and they are swollen! I have had sore knees in treatment, but never this sore nor never swollen!

Think this is dye off? Think the Roxi allowed the picnic to begin?

I have a call into my doc, just wanted some others thoughts.

thanks in advance,
tory

Your Lyme treatment was probably not complete. Did you take high doses of flagyl at the end of the Lyme treatment to see if you were ready to go off meds??

Were you symptom-free when you went off meds?

I would definitely call your LLMD!!

And I hope you are feeling better SOON!! [Smile]

One of my knees is extremely swollen at the moment. I am treating it with freshly squeezed ginger juice, on a cloth then another cloth and a hot water bottle on top. It is easing it.

thanks to all of you!

Yes, I did call my llmd, waiting for that.

and yes, I was on Roxi and Biaxin for at least 8 weeks prior to stopping. Doc thought it was time to give treatment a break.

I agree, I'm not done..just wanted to check if swollen knees were common.

ginger root? I'll look at that as well. Thanks.
