I've been taking tindamax 1/2 tab daily and had elevated liver enzymes this week so Dr. C told me to stop taking it and get labs again next week. This has been a hard drug for me.

Anyone else have elevated liver enzymes from their treatment. I don't need a problem with my liver.

Have any of you had a problem getting heparin filled? Thanks. Liz

Hi Zil

It is Important that you drink Lots of water-

I have been taking Large amounts of ABX
for several yrs--
My liver tests come back clean -

I drink 3 to 5 gallons of water or tea
aday -
I am 100% sure the increased
of water or tea is why tests are clean -

If you dont have a glass of something
in your hand right now -
you are not drinking enough --jay --

You need to understand what causes liver enzymes to elevate. It is common for drugs, antibiotics, to elevate enzymes. You simply go off the drugs and the enzymes should return. There is probably no liver damage.

If you go off the drugs and the liver enzymes remain high--now you have a different problem altogether that should be taken seriously.

I've had both occur, but luckily no more. I take fewer drugs and whatever else it was that caused my elevated enzymes to spike and make me really sick last year has abated.
