A friend of mine with lyme, with three kids (2 had lyme before, now are cured), is traveling to Colorado Springs in summer.
Does anyone know a practioner in that area that she could see in case someone from her family is bitten again there?
She'll spend her whole vacations there and is wishing to get a couple of phone numbers just in case, as she's scared someone gets a bite.
She's open to alternative treatments too.
Thank you, Selma

Sorry, Selma - I don't have any info on practitioners in The Springs area, but perhaps others will PM you.
Don't forget - your friend may be able to start a simple homeopathic prevention protocol on her own if a member of the family gets a bite of any kind. I've laid it out here....
Your friend would still be free to seek orthodox or other treatment as soon as she is able - this isn't necessarily an "either/or" question of treatments.
I've found that some homeopathic prevention treatments don't always totally prevent infection, but if an infection occurs, it is usually of short duration and often a very mild version of the full-blown disease or illness. Just my personal experience, of course.

*Bumping up*
Does anybody from Colorado Springs know of a Lyme-friendly doc there?

You can contact our friend Lightfoot who deals with support there. [email protected]
She is wonderful and will most likely be able to assist you.
Also, please be very cautious in Colorado, that is where I became infected with at least 4 TBDs.

Tracy, thanks, I always forget, I sent my friend the info on the emergency protocol (that I usually do too when they test).
Thanks for bumping.
Lymetutu sent me great info, so my friend will not go without any addresses! She's got chronic lyme herself and had gone through the healing process (she's still on treatment) and don't want to re-start everything again with her kids, that now look healthy again (2 had chronic lyme, but without many symptoms).
We know it was chronic with ART, but their immune system kept the critters under control.
Melanie, sorry to hear that... I'll pass her the email of lightfoot, thanks a lot.

I don't have the list of LLMD's but I did see the documentary "Under our Skin" and I'm 99.9 percent sure that one of the doctors featured in it is from Colorado Springs.
Will double check and PM you.
