My right lower eyelid is puffy and never goes away. It looks different than the other one. Has anyone experienced this?

My eyes don't look puffy but they FEEL puffy!

I've noticed on my bad days that I just have this puffy feeling around my eyes - I don't know how else to explain it - like when you're really tired or haven't slept for days.

It's a little annoying but def not the worst symptom I've ever had.

Edema of the eyes is often Bartonella.

There are a ton of posts about this (because MANY have experienced this, along with droopy eye).

Search for "swollen eyes", "droopy eyelid".

If you can't find the threads, let me know and I'll do some hunting but those of us that have discussed it and have it have BARTONELLA in common (sigh).

So sorry as it really sucks!

The good news, treatment of Bart, accupuncture, peppermint essential oils, and detoxing all help resolve the situation eventually.

The first time it happened to me was about 15 years ago. I woke up and looked like I was in a boxing match...horrifying experience. I was about 26 and wasn't diagnosed with Lyme until 34 and Bart until 39...so I FEEL YOUR PAIN!!!!

lymielauren28:

I was CONVINCED that I had a lump on my left eyelid and it made it harder for me to open my eye but I couldn't see anything. No one could.

I drove my bfriend crazy asking him over and over but neither of us EVER saw anything. I guess it was just a sensation...Lyme/Bart causes nerve sensations.

Anyway, it went away at the beginning of Bart treatment...but yeah, totally creepy.

Wow..Clarisa.

That is Exactly what I had....well with your post about when you got infected that means and matches that I got BART when I was in 8 th grade .They gave me topical antibiotics and I recall has happened after the EPISODE "MUMPS".

That is the point that I refer the first time introduced to BART -OFICIALY.Than I recall my high fever and numbness at age 19 ( right knee hurted) and swollen eye lids.I even went to great drs.NONE HAD a CLUE.

Than age 37 .I just saw a picture and thought GOD how my eyes were so puffy swollen.Introduced to BLO.

Now I know why I keep Fighting BART and still have it.

So for SURE I GOT IT 25 years AGO and have 3 strains ....

Yes the puffy eyes got away after 1 year of KEEP TREATING AND TREATING AND TREATING.....bart mostly !
