Hoping to hear from ANYONE who has a confirmed case of Bartonella and these random papules I've seen online photos of?
I've always believed that the skin manifestations of Bartonella were either stretch-mark like streaks or raised bumps in a pattern in a close proximity. Is this true?
My LLMD clinically dx'd me with Lyme/Bart. Since learning about the papules, I've come to realize I have about 25 of these things on my arms/chest and a few on my legs -. They are small (diameter of coarse salt grain), but raised and reddish or purple - they look like 'blood blisters' and thought they were benign and NOT related to anything, much less Bartonella?
I am only 39 and have tested negative for everything OTHER than 12 bands + or IND in Igenex Western Blot for Lyme.
Also, is neuropathy (burning feet, lower legs, hands) associated with Bart? Starting to realize Bart may play an even bigger part in what is going on with me than Lyme?
BTW, I am currently being treated aggresively for Lyme, should the Bart be considered too?
Thanks for any help, MBB3
