Hey, about 7 months ago I went to the er with extreme pain in my abdomine. At first they thought I had apendisitis but then decided that I had a ruptured cyst. Well, after that things rapidly started to get worse. I had to go in for a colonoscopy for excessive rectal bleeding, and at the appointment to set up the time for the test the doctor noticed that my thyroid was enlarged so he ordered blood tests and an ultrasound. Turned out my thyroid is moderatly enlarged with multiple nodules on the right side. My bloodwork however all came back normal. My doctor decided to send me to an endocronoligist, he however said that tehre is nothing wrong with my thyroid. I have also had extreme pain in all of my joints, at least two of my joints are in pain everyday. My heart rate has consitently been between 95 and 130 bps for the past 4 months. I developed carpal tunnel, tendinitis in my knee and elbow. I also have not been able to lose weight at all my son was born a year ago and even with exercise and diets and healthy eating there has been no loss just a staedy gain. My doctor has run all the tests for all the autoimmune disorders (Lupus, RA, ect.), as well as for lymes and the other tick bourne disease, all of those tests also came back negative. However, I know that there can be false positive results alot. My step-father has it and both of my dogs, one of which passed away due to Lymes. In the past 3 months I have started having extreme fatigue, not being able to get up in the morning, not being rested when i wake up after a full nights sleep. It has started to interfere with me being able to play with my one year old. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Your symptoms sound ALOT like mine, and I was just diagnosed with Lyme. My head is still swimming over it. This weight gain thing is horrible! All the doctors discount whatever you say and just assume you eat everything you see. IF you have Lyme it impacts your lymph nodes, and I have determined in my case the weight gain is lymph fluid. My new excellent doctor says treat the underlying problem, it will resolve. Good luck, dear.
