hello,
Has anyone done an effective Zeolite (or other) metals detox protocol whilst on abx? If so, please recommend: product, dosage, duration of time.

A practitioner mentioned Waoira cellular defense and Super Z or something like that.

Many thanks!

I was told not to even attempt metal detox until lyme & Co-infection treatment was over with.

Mind you saying that pre-lyme diagnosis I had a full IV metals chelation done for months until I was free of any metals and it made not a blind bit of difference to the way I felt - obviously thats because it was not causing my symptoms and Lyme/Co-infections were

EDTA or DMSA Chelation Iv is probably the best route and you have a metals stress test done after the first IV to access the level of metals and then you continue with chelations until the test is in low range - but again this should be done with caution as I personally feel you could overload the system so perhaps think about it after your TBI treatment is comig to an end or your feeling consistantly better

Thanks Rianna.

Any other thoughts? I was told that IV chelation was not recommended--that now there are oral products out there that are just as good and are gentle. But would consider.

Anyone else?

I know of a product from a company called solal technologies that is mean to be fantastic its used by doctors all over the world

You can not use DMSA though if you have any amalgam fillings

Since my symptoms are not too bad right now, I am having an IV push and heavy metal test next week followed by chelation.

I was worried about this because I thought it would just release everything into my already taxed system.

My LLND assured me that is not the case. That once he sees what's there, the chelation will take it out safely. I hope that is true.

I mentioned Zeolite to him and he said that the test and chelation were more effective in getting the metals out of the bones.

Some people use zeolites to absorb toxins from the spirochete die-off. It's in the Cowden protocol from Nutramedix. They have one that they sell. I don't know if it's to absorb metals or neurotoxins. Chlorella is also good.

I'm not sure what the differences are between the various brands. I would assume that they can absorb everything like supplements, drugs, herbs, etc. Best to take them away from other things. I'm not 100% on that, though.

I was toxic in lead, so my LLMD used Detoxamin, ALA and NAC for chelation.

Now I'm using Zeolite (first), then Zeolite HP (on now) to mop up the few remaining metals. I use ALA and NAC along with the Zeolite.

I take the Zeolite every third night.

If you are very toxic, I really don't know that this will be enough. I would talk to a professional about heavy metal detox. But if you only have residual metals or are trying to avoid having metals come back after chelating, I think it's a good choice. This is just my perception.

I think chlorella and FIR saunas are also good.

I did not wait until Lyme treatment was over to chelate .... and I felt much, much better on days I chelated than on days I did not .... until my metal load was lighter, then I felt the same.

If you still have amalgam fillings, I wouldn't use a heavy chelator .... maybe just chlorella or zeolite alone.

I am not the "resident metal expert." [Big Grin] There are others who know a lot more about this than I.

Please read some of my posts, CD57.

I have only two things to say: The microbial infections, none of them, Lyme & Company, will leave the body if it is contaminated with heavy metals. It's best to do everything alongside each other.

Do not attempt it on your own or any way it was described here by some. Heavy metals are most likely in the brain and brain stem, central nervous system, and zeolite does not touch that. It helps as a binding agent once the metals have been mobilized by other substances. Find help
from soneone that has experience in heavy metal detoxification. And do not go into a sauna until you have removed the major load. You do not want it in the brain --- wich can easily happen with strong circulation --- you want to get it out.

This is what I learned during my "journey"

Take care.

P.S. You may want to read the other threads about the Bionic 880 treatment. Join the Group effort of "Bob in Maryland" or the others who are in the planning stages.
