I am in so much pain....all over. I have a 6 and 2 year old. I have no option to lay in bed. I have to make breakfast lunch and dinner. My son wakes up at 6am. No matter what time he goes to bed
I have no option to lay around. My 2 year old is active and there's nothing I can do about that. I wish I could just lay in bed and try to get well. I can't though.
They have given me Vicodin, Ultram, a MILLION muscle relaxers that don't help AT ALL, benzos out the butt to where I can take a bottle of 30 and not feel a damn thing...because everyone says, it's just anxiety.
I need some kind of medication that WORKS. Does anyone here take anything for pain. At least for short term until I figure out what's wrong with me.
Sorry, but I'm not really into the herbal stuff right now. I have no clue about the stuff and I'm not in the mood to research it.
I'm going to try to find a pain management doctor to help me through this, especially if herxing is as bad as it sounds, then I'm going to need help because I'm a young mom and I can't just lay around, ya know?
Has anyone taken anything stronger than the ones that I listed as far as pain meds go to help control the pain? Because I will tell you....I'm in PAIN.

You have the right idea with finding a pain specailist. There are different kinds of pain and different treatments it might not necessarily be how strong but what kind or category of meds will help.
Pain is complicated and like lyme what works for one doesnt work for the next person so someone that treats it alot will probaly be able to get you the most functional.
I know pain is rough... I can't imagine how hard it must be with 2 small children.

I have three kids under 6yr. I hear ya sister! It stinks when you can't just lay around and sleep.
I take Motrin for my pain. I can't afford to be loopy, or so much in pain I can't be a mom. It helps me. Good luck!
