I just started Doxy yesterday. Doc has me starting slow at 100 mg 2x a day and then will double that dose next week. Already feeling significant nausea, dull headache and overall sense of being sick. Is that reaction to the meds or herx?

Doxy made me feel all those things, especially if I took it on an empty stomach.

The nausea usually lasted about 30-40 minutes and then would pass.

Try taking the Doxy after you eat at least a light meal. Take with plenty of water, too.

I think it's the doxy, not a herx.

I had to stop because of the disabling dizziness. I was so sick to my stomach.

I feel your pain. I had to stop it.

Better luck to you.
