I am curious has anyone treated Lyme successfully and then gone on to work on co-infections...it sounds as if it could be possible - (see my post below for Burrascanos statement)OR had spontaneous clearance of co-infections treating lyme only?

I am not sure lyme can be eradicated ............. evn after coinfections are treated. A person can experience remission ........... but eradicated doesn't seem posible. I wish it were.
I think most LLMD's say you must treat co-infections simulaneously with or before treating Lyme.

Oops...I chose the wrong "wording" I know better...I edited post, thanks for pointing that out.
I could have sworn someone here said the other day they had lyme "under control" and were going on to treat co-infections.
The reason I ask , I can't get over the statement made by Dr. Burrascano in the Bartonella clinicians viewpoint video - he mentioned that before they were aware of co-infections they just treated and tread Lyme and people got well.
The assumption..the immune system was strong enough to kill the co-infections once the LD load was down.
My LLMD agrees to this statement.
That is why I am curious to see if there are actually any patients who have experienced this.
My question should really be "Has anyone treated LD and had spontaneous clearance of co-infections?"

DISCLAIMER: I AM SPEAKING FROM MY LOUSY MEMORY. YOU SOULD NOT TAKE THIS AS TRUTH ..... PERHAPS SOMEONE ELSE REMEMBERS HEARING THIS AND COULD AFFIRM WHAT I THINK I REMEMBER.
SCOTT WAS AT THE CONFERENCE I HEARD THIS AT.
This is somrthing else I think I heard Burrascanno say:
If Lyme is caught and treated immediately then co=infections don't seem to be a problem. The immune system is able to fight off the possible co-infections if the Lyme does not take hold and destroy the immune system.
So, it may follow that if you cught the lyme relatively early and it had not yet wreaked it's havoc, perhaps you could treat it first and the co-infections second.

My LLMD treated me for lyme, then moved on to babs, then to bart. (He follows the Burrascano guidelines.) He thought he would have to treat lyme again at the end, but, as it turned out, he didn't have to.
So, I am an example of this. It has been over 3 years since I stopped meds and I am still symptom-free, enjoying my life.
And, I had 2 epidural injections (steroids) about 1 1/2 years ago. Still, no lyme symptoms.
Just to let you know, I had lyme and co. at least 5 years prior to diagnosis--could have been as long as 10 years. Was quite symptomatic for the last 5.
