I take Xanax and that helps with the jumpy muscles and nerves a lot. My neck hurts a lot and my pain management doctor rxd me a low (lowest dose possible)for my neck pain.

I don't know if this all ties together or not but do you lyme folks have flu-like skin and being so tired that you can barely function or even stay awake. Before, it was the neurological symptoms that were bothering me the most. Now, when the refill of the xanax runs out before it should (shame, shame, I know) I know the neuro stuff will come back.

But I was wondering if your skin felt like it hurt all over? Like even when your clothes touched it. You'd think Morphine would knock it out, but it doesn't. Is this normal?

I never had it but my dd did. Sounds like extreme skin sensitivity. Yes, many with lyme get it (hyperethesia or something like that). Sounds like a big herx. I don't know what meds you're on (have you looked at side effects for each)?

So sorry you have to go through it. If you can't push through it, maybe back off on your meds a little bit. But I would try to get through it because you may feel a bit better afterwards.

I hope you feel better soon

I just finished all rounds of antibiotics yesterday. Partly by choice because I want to get retested again by Lapcorp with no antibiotics in my system and I also got my Igenex kit in the mail Saturday too, which was cool.

Holy crap, I can barely see to post anything anymore. It sucks!!!
