a friend has been under treated due to finances. he has been fighting lyme a long time, had a pos igenex test yrs ago-but grew up in very endemic area and may have had it for yrs before-most of his life maybe.

anyway...he now has a recurring skin lesion on the top of his thigh. it is two concentric circles, about 1/2" in diameter, and IT IS THE SAME COLOR AS HIS SKIN...NOT REDDISH.

it comes and goes and he can't figure out what triggers it. it is an INDENTATION on the skin...as if he had pressed a button into it. at first thats what he thought it was-but he has paid attention now that it recurs---and it can't be from pressure on the skin.

he is not on treatment-but lives a very alternative lifestyle-eats really healthy, organic, green drinks etc-he has most of his life.

the last time he got the lesion it had streaks radiating from it...they also were not red. just indentations...kinda like stretch marks or the lines on your palms.

i've been around a long time and never heard of this....

any info appreciated. thanks. lp

Yes, me!!!! And, believe it or not, I actually managed to have two on the same day I saw my derm for an appt, and was able to show them to her. I got my usual "Don't match any known pathology" answer - but no question in my mind LD all the way.

Here's what they looked like: Huge ovals going from front right thigh across groin and up to belly - a huge 'lariat'. It was outlined in what looked like a skinny, skinny white depressed line. I had a smaller one on the other thigh.

They lasted for awhile, and then I had them one more time. In the same area, I also had a very angry blue & red thick streaks across top of thigh from time to time. My LLMD thought it might be the site of the original bite.

Anyway, maybe similar?? As I said, no doubt in my mind LD all the way, and I have had many, many strange skin manifestations.
