I noticed that since I got bit, I have lost my desire to eat. I know that some of it has been stress and anxiety but some of it isn't. I know that some of you are on antibiotics and this may not apply to you because maybe they make you sick to your stomach.
I literally have to force myself to eat. I think a lot of it is I'm seriously too tired to worry about it. I barely can get dinner done any more.
But, I also am hungry...I just don't want to eat. I don't know if that makes any sense. My belly is saying "EAT!!!"....but my mouth and throat say "NO!". I don't know if it is because of there is so much neuro pain and weirdness going on that I can't stand the thought of chewing and swallowing. I keep twitching and my neck burns so bad, I just can't eat. I have went from 135 to 117 since Jan...no other reason than I don't eat!
I used to love to eat, my mom is a wonderful cook and our family revolved around food/dinners/parties.
I noticed that when I took xanax it calmed my neuro symptoms so much that I then had a huge appetite and would make up for lost time.
Anyone else? Or does this disease make you want to eat more? Or the same as it used to be?
Mine might be because of the dramatic 2008 that I've had...but maybe not, since I got that bite at the same exact time.

I had a tremendous loss of appetite from this disease, and not only that, but every time I ate, I felt sick to my stomach and had intense stomach pain.
I drank a lot of smoothies, ate things like frozen raspberries with fresh whipped cream (no sugar, just whipping cream, whipped), almond butter, lattes (decaf), etc. Anything to get the calories I needed.
