This is not my usual fireworks display that comes and goes, but a dark cloud in my right eye's peripheral view. [Sigh]
I've been off abx for a week while doing some testing, and today my fever has spiked, energy fallen, and pain is on the increase.
Could this dark cloud, which is not one of my usual symptoms, be part of a flare due to being off abx?
What do you think?

do you have a grid that has puzzle boxes with lines going across and DOWNWARD?
look at it...are the lines STRAIGHT OR WAVY. if wavy, could be the beginning of MACULAR degeneration.
if you've not had a RECENT EYE SPECIALIST CHECK UP, call and let them know what's going on and get you in the next day or 2 !!! best wishes my friend!

my dd (17) is seeing this as well. we go tomorrow to a neurological opthamalogist bc the optometrist says all is good

I would want an eye dr to check it out.
I think certain diseases (like glucoma) tend to effect the periphal vision first.

Thanks, everyone. I will call the LLMD and see what steps to take next, if this continues.
Betty, it doesn't look like a grid. I hope that's good news. It's more like an oblong dark cloud, but not symmetrical.
Hoping it will go away with a good night's sleep.

Get a some b12 shots pronto. And tell LLMD

I stopped doing b-12 shots a few months ago, but have a new scrip now, so I will go pick it up.

I echo sentiments about macular degeneration and other degenerative eye disorders. A cloud in the peripheral can also be scar tissue developing from eye problems. See an eye specialist asap to rule it out, then go onto other possibilities...
