Hi everyone,

Well, I continue to treat the Bartonella with Zithromax. I did not do well on Levaquin in the past and Zithro makes me feel so much better.

Anyway, my LLMD was considering that I might have Babesia too. I tried the Mepron for 2 weeks but had problems with depression so we stopped for now.

He mentioned that he was treating me for it because I have some night sweats. I don't think I explained this to him in good enough detail.

I get really hot flashes during the day. No fever just really hot. Then at night time I wake up and just my neck and chest are wet from sweating. No soaking sweats though.

This has returned since starting back on the Zithro. I also have to take many...at least 3-4...nightly bathroom trips. That is a new one for me.

I know that bartonella can cause bladder issues but is it common to have sweating with it too? Like I said, they are not drenching sweats.

Any ideas??? I am thinking maybe I don't need something like Mepron.

Lyme also interfers with the ability to sweat. I was not able to sweat before tx. now I am minimally sweating.

Thanks barb,

I don't have any trouble sweating. I always do when exercising. That's strange that that happens to you but I am glad to see that is resolving.
