I had a doctor recommend this a while back before I was on antibiotics. Is it OK to take this product with Doxycycline (400 mg a day)?

If so, how many drops would you recommend? Is it effective? I paid for it so I thought maybe it's worth using!

To my knowledge, yes. The doctors I work with have been known to suggest its use in conjunction with antibiotics. It is primarily known as an immune booster, with some evidence to suggest it can help to raise the CD57.

When I took it, it was 15 drops in 8 oz of water twice a day. Some people who get a reaction may need to gradually step up from one drop, doubling every day.

I didn't experience any positive or negative effects that I can link specifically to Samento, but it certainly can't hurt.

In my opinion Samento acts like an antibiotic, too and kills the sprichette. It definately caused a herx for me.

I added it when I was in a healing plateau (while on Biaxin/Amox) and took me to the next healing level. I had to go very slow and eventually got up to 10 drops 2 x per day. My Dr. only wanted me on 15 drops (5 drops 3 x per day) but the 20 drops worked very well for me.

My advice is to go very slow - if you herx do not increase the dose the next day or until you feel OK.

I get my Samento in my Dr's office but buy all my other Nutramedix products at nutramedix.com. If you goodle Nutramedix Samento I think it's sold on other sites, as well.

Cats calw was working very well for me last year.Than stoped.Than Samento start testing and working .Than again plateaut.

Than started banderol..IT WORKED like a charm.

It depends on how long and which bug you are fighting. So do the herbs...But than you can rotate them as the bugs get adjusted to the herbs and you can get back to it later.
