I recently had the giemsa (sp?) stain test done. Don't have the requisition anymore, so I'm not sure which box my doctor checked.
All I have now is a faxed copy of my photo that my ND gave me. The photo has a description on the side and cells of interest/concern on the photo are marked with arrows. My ND says the colored photo should be in soon.
I saw a photo from another patient (no name or other identifier) that was a lot worse than mine--many arrows and areas where the heme was all gone in the center of the cell. Mine showed the organism is still on the cell membrane, so no heme damage yet, thankfully.
Hope this helps. Nutmeg

Sorry, my test from Fry Labs was for hemobartonella, not bartonella. I mis-read your post, so disregard.
