i am on lots of abx with a very respected llmd

recently started herxing, i think,
but i just began to have random little muscle twitchings, which i did not have before i started treatment! i only had twitches in 3 spots here and there, and now i feel them happening in more places.

also, the little knobs at the base of my skull is painful again.

could this be just herx/die off?
or
am i progressing into worse infection?

thanks

Sounds like herxing to me [Smile]

What "little nobs" are you referring to? Your atlas? The first vertebrae at the base of your skull?

You might want to look into seeing a chiropractor who specializes in atlas adjustments (atlas orthogonal)
I see one and it has made SUCH a huge difference.

would being more tired fit into the herxing category?

i was not experiencing much tiredness until the past 2 to 3 weeks.
i was bitten again about 3 weeks ago, but didn't develop any fever, chills, etc...and my llmd said i was well covered by all the abx/etc that i am on that it should not be a problem (the nymph was on me for about 3 hours, prolly bit into me not long before i pulled it off with tick remover tool.).

but still, i am more tired. i feel like napping in the afterrnoon whereas before i had no need to nap but maybe once a week.

this is worrisome but if it is a herx than i am not so worried...

John, fatigue has been my prevailing symptom with lyme, and it has increased somewhat with the administration of antibiotics. Since I've been tolerating the meds really well, I figure this to be a herx reaction. Die-off seems to magnify all the problems and create new ones....

Hi John

I got re infected 5 months ago -
at the time I was on a Very Low dose of ABX-

I started getting Real sick again and
2 days later I found a bullseye on my elbow-

I upped ABX amount right away
but I still got very suck again for 3 months-

Now 5 months after the reinfection I am feeling
perty good again most of the time-

To me it sounds like you are Herxing-
Being Tired is a sign of herxing also -

New symptoms popping up is common when herxing-

You will be OK --Jay--

Just hours ago this afternoon I said this was the best day I've had yet.... I spoke too soon.

I now am dizzy when I walk, have air hunger, my muscles heart, I had a heart palp, and twitches are more prevalent at this moment then they've been in weeks. Oh and I've got a killer headache.

I just had the thought that "I'm getting worse cause I'm only treating myself with silver at the moment. But then I see this message and it gives me hope that its only part of a herx.
