I've been dealing with lyme disease and a nasty parasite I picked up in the Carribean last fall. It seems like I get better when taking something, than get worse.

I'm in a sexual realtionship with my boy friend and wondered if the reason I'm not getting better is because he also has this parasite? Could he have no symptoms and still have it, just like lyme disease?

I'm no expert...but it seems to me that he could have Lyme and retransmitting it to you..
That seems more plausible than him having a parasite and giving it to you.
What kind of parasite is it? I didn't even know parasites could be sexually transmittable.
But my LLMD says that if my husband has Lyme, that my treatment won't be sucsessful if he isn't being treated as well.
