I have been seeing some posts about taking a teaspoon daily of Olive Oil as a vitamin/antioxident...
Is it ok to take it in this manner?
How many people have tried it and had good (or bad) experience with taking it this way?
Thank you!

It's far better on a salad or with steamed veggies - or lentils and other beans - and rice.
And EVOO - extra virgin olive oil is supposed to the be tops.
It's best to use just a touch to saute an onion, etc., with most of the oil being added right before serving so it's not been exposed to high heat.
With sauteing, a medium heat is as high as one should go with oils. If oils get too hot they can oxidize and become bad for us then.
Everyday - yes - lunch, dinner . . . it's very healthy not so much for vitamins, but for the antioxidant action and the oil's effect on our brain, heart and circulation system.
Follow the Greeks in this, a Mediterranean diet is seen as one of the most healthful of all.
I've been told this about other foods, but am not sure about oils. Avoid some food for one day a week &/or rotating brands might help in avoiding an allergy that might develop over time.
You also want to buy it fresh and keep it fresh. If it tastes rancid, do not eat it or use it at all in cooking. Rancid oils are dangerous oils. Keep oils in a cool place and try to be sure to buy oils that have not been stored in hot warehouses, etc.

I also use an organic virgin coconut oil.
And nuts, and nut oils, too, are very nice. Nut oils are very expensive, but a good hazelnut oil on a salad or in oatmeal is heaven.
