What is the proper dosage for Nasonex? I was prescribed some awhile back but no longer have the dosage instructions. Is it one spray in each nostril twice a day?

I believe I need to take this again b/c I'm having issues w/my right sinus, ear and eye as well as pain in the hollow of my neck in the back on the right. I also have sinus polyps on my right side.

I get nowhere w/ENT's but I just looked at my most recent MRI and my right sinus area is completely closed up. I hope the Nasonex works but I am also a little concerned since it's a steroid.

my allergist just reviewed this with me friday when i saw him after 6 months....

i'm allowed up to 2 squirts PER NOSTREL DAILY!

do one, later on if you still need it, squirt again.

i was doing up to 4-5 times on a single nostrel since it plugs up so bad.

then i sleep with mouth open and DRY MOUTH gets 300% worse .... no moisture in my mouth whatsoever.

i sleep with my 34 oz. water jug next to my bed and sip on it all night long...

it's one thing that has helped me! [Wink]

My nose is always stuffy but fortunately not

completely plugged up.

I do have the swollen neck feeling. I don't think

it's actually swollen but it feels really tight,

like it's swelling on the inside. But I can breathe

and swallow fine. It's a strange feeling.

Just diagnosed (finally) last week with Lyme and enchrilosis(sp)

Lots and lots of sinus infections over the years and the same swollen feeling in the throat and neck.

About 4 years ago I was fed up with my dr and refered myself to an ear, nose and throat Dr.

It only took him about 5min. into the exam to see that I had a very bad deviated septum and a growth in my right nostril.

He told me it was some sort of inverted papaloma, can't remember the true name. Surgery corrected the septum and he removed the growth.

Unfortunately I'm still plagued with the sinus problems.

My LLMD said that the muscle around my throat (near thyroid area) was inflamed and that's why I feel swollen and tight there.

I don't believe any part of the body is immune to Lyme and co.
