I was on Mepron and Azithromycin for 4 months, and was so sick, called the LLMD, and he changed the dosage, and then stayed off Azithromycin and went back on Mepron, to see if I was getting SO

Sick and pain from Mepron, after restarting Mepron, after 6 days on it I went off it again because I was almost dead, I could not lift my arms barely and breath, the pain was like electric currents on my nerves and flesh,

I did call the LLMD but the LLMD did not return my call, so I just left it, I did not call back. I just wanted to die and never touch another drug again, I have NEVER been so close to death,

and now even 25 days off Mepron, and azithromycin, I am not recovered, my breathing is horrid, my brain is horrid, I am weak,

I have to start to get the blood work done to see if I am ok and then call the LLMD, I have to pay now for all calls to the LLMD so I did not call the LLMD lately because of money,

I now will have to deal with what is going on with me, because I have never been this sick.

I feel like a truck is sitting on my chest, my breathing is terrible, and I want to die,

I wonder if MEPRON has caused irreversible damage to me?

When I say sick, I mean I should have checked myself into the Hospital, because I felt like I was going to die,

I have been at this for 5 years and had this diseae for years, about 15 before treating,

I NEVER was this sick on Clindamycin and Quinine, I got sick, then better, but this, is just not right what is going on, I think I have something wrong because of Mepron,

Trish

Actually, I felt that way from Zith! I steadily got better on Mepron/Biaxin. Later I tried Mepron/Zith and it was horrible.

My LLMD took me off it and believes much of the problem is from the intracellular Lyme being attacked too harshly. Now I'm taking Malarone/Lariam.

He is treating the Lyme more gently but the babesia just as aggressively as before.

Please keep your LLMD in the loop. They have a lot of experience in dealing with this. My LLMD is addressing some of the cytokines that were caused by the immune system being overstressed. That could be part of your problem.

It may not be the Mepron.

Hang in there.

Thanks,

I was the Azithromycin alone before and I was not this sick. I added in Mepron and here I am,
and not even much better.

I just added Alinia to my regimen of Mepron, Azithromycin, doxy, and artemesinin.

The alinia is really hitting me hard, I feel like it's really killing a lot of babs, because I'm herxing really hard...much harder than w/Mepron...and I've only been on half the dose I'm going to be on starting tomorrow.

Unfortunately, they're both very expensive drugs, so I hope they really get rid of babs completely.
