I having been treating Lyme/Myco/Cpn for about 2 yrs now and am about 85% after a Doxy/Zith Combo.

My LLMD thinks I have yeast now (white tongue and deep white line down tongue). Have some mild brain fog here and there, but overall very sharp and can exercise now etc...

He wants me to do 200mgs of Diflucan for 50 days and see if my remaining symptoms clear. If not we will treat Bart with Cipro or Rifampin combo.

He wants me to continue with my 250mg Zith MWF which is all I am on now (and supplements) while on the Diflucan. I am a little worried because I read Shardt talks about being careful not to be on any other drugs that inhibit the P450 (?) chromozone or something like that. Erythromycin was mentioned but I don't know about Zith. Any idea if Zith is a no no?

Thanks!

Also, who has done this as prescribed (followed by 30days of Penicillin) and come out 100%.

Thanks!

I am getting ready to start my 6th diflucan protocol.

Little different though.

I take 60 days at 200mg a day with two weeks off in between (to rest my liver I am sure).

While I can't take zith (ear ringing), I've done the first five 60 day runs of diflucan

With biaxin/mepron. Recently LLMD switched to cipro (500mg 2 x a day) along with mepron.

I am supposed to add in plaquenil too. Just haven't gotten there yet.

I believe this has really helped with my Lyme and yeast.

I have maintained normal liver enzymes since initiating treatment.

(Knock on wood). I've done sporanax, diflucan, and nystatin pills.

I take nystatin on my two weeks off of diflucan.

So far so good.

Don't be suprised if you herx....whether from yeast or Lyme.

PM me if you think I can be of any other help.

Hugs,

Geneal
