It may take time to see improvement if you are full of toxins.
Consider trying some of the other suggestions in the thread that you posted about this awhile back such as dealing with ammonia (a big cause of brain fog) and adding acetylcholine (borrelia toxins decrease it).
I don't know how likely it is that you have permenant brain damage but I've gone through periods of extreme brain fog and came out of it with no decrease in brain function after dealing with some of the issues I've mentioned.
