I used the word 'success', which I now think implies the wrong thing, I meant HAS IT HELPED?....I know it's a combo effort to heal...wrong word used in original post...opps~!

thanks...

I've used the "Thieves" essential oil.

Can't say it made any impression at all. It think it can help, but lyme and co. run deep and just smelling or rubbing oils on the skin have their limits.

I'd say try it and if it helps, great. Just, of course, don't rely on it as a full treatment.

Any lavender essential oil just knocks me out - found out later that many with chemical sensitivities have a very hard time with lavender, so be careful.

I have a vial of the lemon in my purse so when I'm out and near diesel exhaust, if I sniff that, I don't get so clobbered from the exhaust fumes.

I love their oils, but have never heard of a lyme protocol.

I remember reading an essential oil protocol from Dr. K. in WA.

Let me know what you find.

I've been using thieves oil and a powerful diffuser (I have one of Young Living and another from Diffuser World) to help with mold. It does make me feel better.

The diffuser world diffuser is much more powerful at dispersing the oil.

I saw a doctor last month who mentioned thieves oil as an anti-bacterial. I doubt that it would be effective all by itself though. He knows I have lyme.

I haven't seen a lyme protocol from Young Living but I haven't looked for it specifically.

edited to add: The doctor told me to add a few drops of thieves oil in a capsule and take it internally. My herbalist told me to be very careful with it because it is powerful oil.

I just recall my lyme doc suggesting I try their drink..I think it was called RED.

I contacted the person who was selling it and she was a patient of my doctor's but was also able to snow ski now.

She went from not being able to walk to being able to ski in about a years time.

She thought the Young Living stuff made a difference with her.

I have used countless number of their oils all throughout my treatment. I don't recall seeing a Lyme Protocol though. Let me check their website - no, dont see anything that could be it.

Thieves is anti-bacterial, and I've used it as a mouth-wash (diluted in water), on my toothbrush, as a disinfectant (they sell a spray version), and rubbed on my feet and chest for colds and congestion. I've also used it on funky skin things and it healed them up within days.

Lemon oil is ingestible - you can use it to flavor your oh so blah water. Just one drop makes your water yummy. But 10 drops once a day will help change your body PH to alkaline.

Kam, maybe your doctor was referring to their drink, NingXia Red? Been hooked on that stuff for 4 years now. Actually they had a different kind call Berry Young. They finally discontinued it and switched everyone to the NingXia Red.

Yes. he was referring to the Red Drink.

And the patient used the Living Oils products and Red drink as part of her treatment.

NO, I have not heard of a lyme protocol.

There Living Young oils sound great but they are kind of pricey. You can find other sources that are less expensive on Google.

Many years ago, I met a lady who treated very serious illnesses with herb & spice oil combinations. They can be very powerful to use internally but you really have to be careful.

This website has alot of good info & good prices -
