I have a miserable vaginal yeast infection and don't know why. Also never had one like this before.
I didn't have discharge. I had terrible pain and swelling in pelvic and abdominal region. Pain in my lower back. General ickyness. BAD external itching and irritation. Also pain in organs during a bowel movement
LLMD muscle tested for yeast and said no yeast. Sent me to gyno.
Gyno said yes yeast and gave me cream. AFter first use symptoms are decreasing.
Here is the thing, I am on a strict yeast diet and take loads of anityeast medications.
I was on cumanda for a month. Could this be the reason? I;m just very confused...
I also started aremisnin last week for babs.
Right now, my skin is crawling and I am itchy everywhere!!! help!

ewwwwwwwww-
jk
cumanda does not cause yeast, it helps it.
sounds like its probably just not the special spot infected, most likely systemic.
do u take pro bx and follow the candida diet?
u should consider taking oregamax, nystatin, or fluconazole which is probably the best for your situation.
hope u feel better soon. do some searches on here youll find loads of info on yeast.
I do a lot of those things already: yeast cleanse by soloray, GSE, oregano oil. probx, sugar free gluten free dairy free fun free diet.
I just don't get it...could a yeast die off cause an "infection" down there?

Oh the things we go through!
I had vaginal yeast issues while I was on Cowden even though I don't have systemic yeast and my pain issues prevent me from wearing any under clothing at all (think nighties or long dresses) so I never have tight clothing on which can be a big contributor.
I think I had it less on Cumanda and more when on the Banderol but I was still surprised.
Now that I'm back on ABX I'm back to my Fluconozole which helps my vaginal yeast the best. Last time on ABX I was up to 200 mgs every day. Now I'm taking it every other day. I can't afford to have this type of yeast as it severely affects my pain issues and I'm already pretty miserable.
I do the probiotics big time, too, as well as a good diet.

dm,
sorry to hear you are so uncomfortable. Sounds like you need a heavy duty prescription to make a dent in your yeast attack.
You might want to also beef up your probiotics, in addition to the antifungal regimen.
Here are few good probiotics I take in the course of one day--and maybe it can help you fend off future infections.
Renew Life Critical Care - 50 billion (15 strain) Theralac Iflora professional - 20 billion (16 strain) iflora professional YC7 (specifically for yeast)
I know this sounds like overkill, but you cant take too much good bacteria. It works and also nice to your digestive tract.
Oregano is known powerful antifungal.
There are good antifungals like: Fungal Defense Kolorex Advance Care Oregano Oil Candex Culturelle And many others.
Besides the sugar free/low carb diet, I found that detox in the form of sweating REALLY works too to get rid of the toxins. Exercise, sauna, hot tub, etc.
Your doctor may have some good advice too. Hope you are feeling better soon.

Right now my skins is crawling and I can't take the itch-its everywhere? Could that be a yeast thing?
Also, someone told me that she gets white discolorations on her body during a yeast flare up. I have some all over my chest. Anyone else have this.
Can the yeast actually be on my skin?
I have a call into my dr for diflucan or something.
This is unlike anything i've ever experienced. I've had pain, fatigue, all that-but I think this symptom could be the one that makes me go crazy!

I have also had feminine infections where I suspected yeast, but they were primarily on "the outside," as opposed to actually coming "from" the vagina.
They come and go and I really wish I knew what they were. I have good hygiene, so I don't think that is the problem.
I would ask my gyno, but she is the one prescribing my abx at my LLMD's recommendation, so I can't risk her pulling the plug on those. I don't even want to ask her for Diflucan.
I have also considered that it could be bacterial. I haven't experimented too much with killing it....usually let it pass.
So who knows. Keep us posted on what works.

Yeast and candida are hard to get rid of with Lyme it takes time. I cleared a lot of other asspects of the Lyme with my holistic doc but these are taking a little longer.

Which probiotic are you taking? Could be it's not strong enough.
Diflucan should help a lot... Hope you got some!!!
And yes, the itching all over could be yeast and the white patches too. ( are you sure it's not from a med .. allergy, though? )

Some of the creams don't help all forms of candida. Hope yours does but if not as for Terazol 3 suppositories. But as for one a day. they may just give you 3.
Olive Leaf Extract has worked for me - or Diflucan Rx - oral tablets.

talked to gyno and we think it might me an allergy to the antifungal cream. She called in a script for difulcan. I'm hoping it helps!!
I don;t have my probiotics on me, but i think its renewal life (?) critical care 50 BILLION whatevers in each capsule. I was taking one a day, but have upped it to 2 or 3. Should I take more>?
