Dear Readers: I have had Lyme for about 2 yrs undiagnosed. My Dr. put me on zithromax but I had allergy to it. Then I got 3 dvts in my picc line, 10 days passed, the dvts cleared, and now I am on Cefapime again. I was starting to feel better until today. Today is day two of taking IRON supplement the hematologist suggested bc my iron was so low. I can hardly breath or move. My heart was beating to fast last night I awoke in a sweat and naseau. My whole body hurts so badly and I have heartburn.

Do you think this is bc my period is coming, maybe from the iron, or maybe the cycling of lyme spirochetes getting knocked out by the cefapime?

thanks so very much. Jenny Brown

I don't know Jenny, but I sure hope you feel better.

I was Anemia also, but could not tolerate the iron supplement, don't know why, it just gave me headaches? My symptom always got worse around my time of the month too.

Sorry I couldn't be of any help.
