There is so much positive feedback on MMS.
The side affects can be scary! How does it work for Chronic Lyme and neuropathy? Is there science to support what it does? I'm tempted to try it.......

Also, anyone with neuropathy have lasting success with HBOT? Available in Wisconsin? Cost? Insurance coverage? My LLMD wants to try this next [Smile]

If you try MMS I urge you to go very slowly. I burned my esophagus and stomach and got diarrhea and threw up with it.

Had to take prilosec and carafate for awhile to heal the esophagus and gut.

Some people seem to do fine with it, but I don't think I will try it again.

It does work, but as was mentioned it can be really harsh on the stomach.

I never had a problem with it, but my wife cannot tolerate it because of stomach problems.

The problem comes in because it would have to be used for such a long time to completely eliminate a chronic Lyme case.

Safety is not known for certain. It has to be used slowly and with some common sense. I have not heard of any serious side effects other than the stomach problems. Usually with longer term use.

I use it immediatly if biten by a Deer Tick as a precaution. I think it is a good idea to have some around for this purpose.

I heard if you are worried about your stomach or anything else you can just swish it around your mouth and then spit it out and it still goes into your system.

I've done it since the start of this year. I stopped about 2 weeks ago. Just don't think I need it right now. I think it helped me for sure.

One thing, start slow. I found out you don't need to activate it. Dr. K. is advising his patients not too! It is because the stomach is an acid and can do the activation itself. That will dramatically reduce irritation to the stomach.

Another thought in reducing or protecting the stomach is to use DGL. It is a better alternative to zantac or prilosec. Most of your problem in you stomach is too little acid not too much for the irritation. Another helpful supplement is mastic gum.

If you decide to swish MMS in your mouth. Be sure to brush your teeth with baking soda shortly after. This will reduce the PH in the mouth to protect your teeth. The same can be said of those using grapefruit seed extract (GSE) rinse.

I've had all the GI symptoms described. I don't now! Thankfully [Big Grin]
