I felt this announcement was important enough to post in the medical section

IMPORTANT NOTICE FROM On The Marc Media:

We'd like to share some really important news. Two weeks ago Oprah's Dr. Oz interviewed Andy Abrahams Wilson, producer of Under Our Skin and Washington D.C. ABC-7's Medical Reporter Kathy Fowler. Hi,

I'd like someone to post the link where it says / implies that we made it to the main "TV" show.

Best wishes,

It would be great if this for the TV program, but something tells me it isn't. It is likely the XM radio program.

Oprah usually sidelines all controversial issues by relegating them to her XM radio show rather the TV show. She has said many times on her XM radio program that there are "some things" that her TV audience just aren't ready or willing to hear. In part, that is why started the radio program.

I'd love to be wrong about this;)

Well, this is just great news, even if it is just the radio show!

The first step is the radio show and they are hoping from there....with enough positive feedback from all of you after the radio show, that this will encourage them to have a lyme show on Oprah

this is what I posted-
"I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease this past July 4. I have worked my entire career in a hospital, much of that time serving as a Patient Advocate, advising others how to traverse the medical world to receive the treatment that they need. When I was diagnosed, I was referred out by my primary physician as Lyme is not an area of expertise for him. That was when I entered my medical nightmare. I have been poked, prodded, questioned and referred some more. I have had over 40 vials of blood drawn in 3 months! My Lyme titre and Western Blot have been repeated 3 times since the original results. They remain positive. However, despite repeated positive results, I have now had 2 quailified physicians tell me that they don't think I am suffering from Lyme Disease because I did not improve with 4 weeks of treatment. It has been a daily struggle to continue to function, and I was finally forced to seek treatment from an " unconventional practiotioner" to get the medical care I depserately need. My life has changed drastically since I became ill and I am at a complete loss to understand why the medical world simply refuses to treat Lyme as the serious and debilitating disease it truly is."
