I've been on 5mg Cortef since about April.
About 2 weeks ago, I cut it to 2.5mg and then about a week ago to 1.25mg/day.
So, I went from 5mg and did 2.5 mg for about a week, then 1.25mg for about 4-5 days and then quit.
Is that too fast?
My LLMD just said I could taper down the Cortef about a month ago, so I just presumed I could do it like this. At such a low dose, does it matter?

Well, I was feeling OK, but then I got Salmonella in the middle of the tapering and quitting, so it's hard to tell what's what now.
I've been at about 80-90% well for the last 6 months or so, since just about starting the Cortef. So, it's just typical that I caught something bad just as I was quitting Cortef and I feel fluey and run down, but it may be the Salmonella that's 'run me down' rather than an effect of quitting such low dose cortef.
