Hi guys, I started Zithro about 2 1/2 weeks ago. Almost instantly, I started to feel bad.

Pain increased, nauseous, anxiety. The stomach issues and anxiety improved...and I felt

better. Though the pain has never left. Now, I again feel just as bad. Nauseous, anxiety, I

couldn't sleep last night because my heart was racing. Is it normal to get herx's again and

again? I was under the assumption you got them one time per ABX?? I'm assuming I am wrong.

Me too, pretty much constant herx for me.....a day or two let-up in the last 11 months.

How long have you been infected? I was infected for at least 15 years before treatment began, so I figure that a lot of these bugs are being killed and making me feel so crummy all of the time.

Could be your situation too. Hope you feel beter soon.

I, too, have continual herxes. Completed 5 weeks of tetracycline, which I summarized each as: bad, worse, horrible, better, worse. Then a week off, and now I'm 3 weeks into Mepron/Zith - same story.

Though the symptoms are ever-changing, they're also ever-constant. The exception was that I felt pretty good during the week off abx.

Cheer up, you're kicking some bugs' butt.

I'm in my 8th month of mepron.

Had drenching night sweats two nights ago.

Sheesh!

My neck was real sore yesterday (a babesia symptom for me).

Today it is better except for the increased air hunger.

Initially, I sweated every night for the first five weeks on mepron.

So, yes I still herx on same meds.

Good news is that they are getting further apart and don't last very long.

Hang in there.

Hugs,

Geneal
