Awesome Derek!

Brain, Have you tried this yet? Doctor said ok to me too, but when he said insomnia was a side affect, made me think twice.

Like Derek, I have trouble with sleep.....

Interesting to see that it made you sleepy Derek.

The insomnia only lasts for a week or so.

I take LDN for Crohn's disease. It can help boost your immune system, but it is not likely to get rid of Lyme on its own. I have no experience in using it for Lyme disease, but I would think it could help quite a bit.

Since the side effects are minor, it surely cannot hurt.

I actually discovered that I had Lyme because of LDN. I tried it to see if it would resolve digestive symptoms and fatigue, and it provoked many classic symptoms of Lyme to begin. I couldn't handle continuing the LDN, but clearly it is a very powerful immune stimulant. I'd like to try it again after I've been on antibiotics longer and hopefully the overall bacterial load is lower.

was on it 2 yrs for "MS" prior to finding out Lyme.

I had similar response as Funky...woke up immune system got all the lyme stuff...pain, joint swelling, and increased MS like stuff.

Even had increase in brain lesions.
(no new or enhanced since lyme treatment.)

Founding Dr. in NYC was my MS doc at time. He was thrilled I found Dr. P. & that Lyme was the cause of my "MS".

I can't take LDN while on abxs, feel like I'm dying 1 hr. after.

now this has me worried if some of what i have been experiencing lately is actually from the ldn or causing the immune response to overwhelm.

i will take a break soon and see.

thanks all
