I am starting HBOT on Monday. The neuro that I am seeing while here in FL believes that HBOT will help my unrelenting headaches and head pressure.
This guy is world renowned in Brain health. He also states that HBOT helps abx penetrate the brain better.
If anyone here is in for a prayer, please send one up for me for success and that I don't freak out locked up in that tube.
Thanks guys, Feelfit

Wishing you the best. You can take a valium before you go in. I never could handle those monochambers. I've been in them two times. Freak out attack. Had to calm myself the whole time. I have to be able to sit up and move around a little. But others have no problem and fall asleep in them!

I'm excited for you, that's something that might be in my future too. Try psyching yourself like in an MRI (yuck)--hum to any sounds, I tell myself I have an incurable disease and that getting THIS treatment or whatever will make the difference and of course deep breathing.
I've never seen the single-chamber ones, I know many times people read, listen to music, even TV. Use humor and you will get thru it. Do let us know how it goes, and the best of luck!

I did HBOT for 40 dives, and then several follow up dives after that. I did get more energy, and I believe it was killing off pathogens due to the significant herx reactions I got from it.
It did not cure me however, and due to the expense and distance, I no longer do HBOT.
Make sure you get tested for other pathogens like HHV-6, EBV and Cpn. They could be causing your headaches too.
Best, Timaca
